These are classes that do not fit neatly into other parts of the syllabus.

Own Composition & Performance

These classes embrace both Instrumental & Vocal compositions.

Compositions are considered and evaluated by the Adjudicator prior to the Festival, and the performance itself is then judged on the day. It is therefore essential that all compositions arrive in time for the adjudicator to have ample opportunity to consider and reflect upon the work long before the Festival itself.

Compositions must be forwarded to the Co-ordinator, Anita Honeyman, Orchard View, Talaton Road, Feniton, Devon EX14 3BU to arrive NOT LATER than 1st February.

Music Box Trophy and Dillistone Trophy will be awarded by the Adjudicator for the two most promising in Classes 2260 –2267.

These classes embrace both Instrumental & Vocal compositions.

Any movement(s) within the time limit. Suitable cuts in orchestral introductions etc acceptable.

Adult Challenger - Any Instrument

Own choice.

This class is aimed at keen amateurs who play purely for pleasure but who would value a high quality professional adjudication.
