You must have a valid credit or debit card (or PayPal account) to submit entries in this way,
But you do not require a PayPal account to use this method.

You can still enter using the time-honoured paper form and the postman!

We have redesigned our Online Entry System, which we hope will make it easier to use. A few words of explanation may help.

The person who submits entries is the Enterer. You may be a parent, teacher, a member of a choir or ensemble. You are our primary point of contact regarding the entries you submit. You may be the competitor too, but in order for our system to work, you have to be an Enterer as well.

Competitors are those who take part in the festival, they may be your children, pupils, a group of which you are a member or you yourself. We ask for limited information about competitors.

Registration - as part of the entry process we need to collect some information from you as an Enterer. You only need do this once, and if you wish can come back again another time to submit more entries without needing to input your details again. You can also change your details if you wish. Simply login with your email address and password.

Once you have registered, you will be able to login to the Entry System and submit entries, paying with a credit or debit card via PayPal.

To use the system, simply find a class for which you wish to submit an entry, and press
(If you are not already logged in, you will be asked to Login or Register.) Add the details of the Competitor and confirm that you wish to enter, then go on to find other classes if you wish. You can enter the same competitor, or others (the last competitor's details will be remembered).

Each entry will be added to the PayPal Shopping Basket - you can remove items from the basket if you wish. You are not committed until you go through the Checkout process.

Once the transaction is complete, you will receive an email from PayPal with full details of the classes for which you have submitted entries

Security Although it is not a good idea to reveal your Enterer password to other people, they would be unlikely to submit entries using it, as they would have to pay for them!

Once you have submitted entries, there is no retention of credit/debit card details (we do not have access to them, Paypal handles all of that), so subsequent entries could not be made using them.

When you log out, the details of the last competitor you entered are deleted from your computer (they are remembered to make it easier to enter the same person for a series of classes).
